My Brother and I
My brother and I went to the Park
'Be sure to come home before it gets dark'
We came down the slide on a wax paper wrapper
And onto the swings while the children did chatter.
The roundabout made my brother quite ill,
So I had a ride and he stood quite still.
Next, to the play putting, one pence
was the cost,
I'm sure he cheated 'cos I always lost.
By the old water wheel we sat on the stone
And both made a wish before we came home.
My brother and I went to the Park
And came home safely before it was dark.
